The role of Heydar Aliyev cultural centre in the development of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijani literary-cultural relations

In the article it is given information about establishment of Cultural Centre
of the Republic of Azerbaijan operating in Uzbekistan and some historically significant
issues taken from the projects of this Centre. All the events realized in order to
strengthen literary and cultural ties among Uzbek and Azerbaijani people by this
Centre named Great Leader – Heydar Aliyev, indicates great success literally. One of
the interesting facts is operating Azerbaijani language courses on the basis of the
project of the Centre in 2013. It is also given extensive information about
establishment of the school of translation in 2017, publication and essence of
phrasebook in the Azerbaijani and Uzbek languages. The information given in the
presented article about a new dictionary which consists of more than 23000 words and
expressions, and their translations prepared by scholars of the Institutes of Linguistics
and Literature of National Academy of Sciences of both countries, is notable. The role
of the Institute of Literature named Nizami Ganjavi, ANAS on implementing literarycultural events between two countries is mentioned on the basis of concrete facts.
