Abstract

Abdulbagi Golpinarli is one of the scientists with a multifaceted creative style, who enriched the science of literary criticism with his original research works. He is a scientist who conducts valuable research on the lives and works of many prominent representatives of the Turkic peoples' literature and writes magnificent books and articles. During half a century of scientific activity, his 114 books (written, compiled, and translated), and more than 400 articles were published. Most of his books are devoted to prominent poets, such as Mevlana Jalaleddin, Yunus Emre, Shah Ismail Khatai, Imadeddin Nasimi, and Muhammad Fuzuli's lives and creativities, as well
as their work analyses.
Abdulbagi Golpinarli's scientific activity has not been analyzed in our country so far, only his name is mentioned in some researchers' works as a reference or quoted from him. Therefore, this research work can be considered relevant in terms of studying the dynamic growth of Azerbaijani literature highlighted in the Turkish literature and making scientific and theoretical generalizations about the
Abdulbagi Golpinarli's wide range of work.
The article also explores the reasons for his arrival in science and literary activity and looks at the evolution of his scientific and literary heritage to determine the trends and directions of his research. The reasons for his scientific research were analyzed, and the poetic heritage of the Turkic peoples' literature, including prominent representatives of medieval Azerbaijani literature, was analyzed as a
the perfect basis for the researcher's scientific creativity and his potential as a researcher.
