The problems of translation in Chekhov’s style

A.P.Chekhov, a well-known Russian writer and playwright who is considered a classic of world literature, depicted the real life of his time and its scenes, as well as its pecularities, in his works.
Since the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Azerbaijani authors and translators’ interest on both the stories and plays by Russian writer A.Chekhov has developed. As a result, the author's works have been translated into many languages, and much has been written about these translations. The article also focuses on the translations taken from the Russian classical literature, as well as presentation of these works to Azerbaijani readers and audiences at different levels.
