Abstract

Meeting with Mevlana added a special meaning and extraordinary qualities to Shams Tabrizi's life and character. Mevlana Jalaleddin Rumi, on the other hand, was in search of the perfect person and their meeting had a significant impact on the formation of Shams Tabrizi's life and personality. Rumi was able to see the love inside him, the light towards the Truth, and the true value of the person who is the embodiment of this spiritual wealth. Shams Tabrizi and Mevlana Jalaleddin talked to each other for five years about Sufism and fed their souls. They were never each other's disciples or masters. They were in search of truth and found the truth in each other.
