The theme of freedom and homeland in the works of Magjan Jumabay and Ahmad Javad

Abstract

The life and activities of the "poet of the Republic" of Azerbaijan Ahmad Javad and the national poet of the Kazakhs Magjan Jumabay are very similar. Because both were victims of repression, the Azerbaijani and Kazakh peoples were banned from reading and publishing their works for many years. However, no ban could erase both poets from the memory of the people. All Turkish peoples have always loved them and valued their works as a national treasure. This poem Kazakhstan described as prisons of capitals. Poems by Magjan "Ural", “Türküstan” (“Turkestan”), “Uzaqdakı qardaşıma” (“To my brother out there”), “Turanın bir bağında” (“In a garden of Turan”) with poems Ahmad Javad s “Göy göl” (“Goy Gol”), “Dilimiz” (“Our language”), “Türk ordusuna” (“To Turkish Army”), “Kür” (“Kur”) poems idea are works that sound in terms of ideas and thoughts. Both Magjan Jumabay and Ahmad Javad's world of artistic and political ideas, nature and love lyrics are diverse and rich. Both poets foresaw the dangers that awaited their people, and did not hesitate to express these concerns openly in their poems. For this reason, they were persecuted, repeatedly arrested in the name of "enemies of the people", and finally shot by the empire.
