Abstract

The literary heritage of Gabdulla Tukay (1886-1913), the classic poet of the Tatar people, has always been in the center of attention of the Tatars of the world. They wrote and published scientific articles covering various fields of his creativity in the scientific journals of the countries where they live, translated and distributed examples of his poetry. A lot of work in this matter was done by the leading representatives of the Tatar diaspora living in Turkey as emigrants – scientists and intellectuals, even businessmen. They created various associations in Turkey, published newspapers and magazines, wrote and published articles on the social and political life of Tatarstan, as well as history and literature, poets and writers, and scientists. The work of the outstanding poet, publicist, public figure Gabdulla Tukay is widely advertised. Famous Tatar and Turkish scientists have written and published numerous articles on his work. The Kazan magazine, published by the Tatar diaspora in Istanbul in the 1970s and 1980s, occupied a special place among the magazines that widely promoted the work of Gabdulla Tukay in Turkey. This article examines in detail the work done in the field of publication and research of the literary heritage of Gabdulla Tukay in various issues of this journal.
