Abstract

The work of Jambul Jabayev occupies an exceptionally high position in the history of Kazakh poetry in the 2nd half of the 19th – 1st half of the 20th centuries. His work is a symbiosis of oral poetry with modern word art. The akyn's poems are distinguished by their extraordinary beauty and special quality. Living in three socio-historical formations, Jambul always created poems reflecting the interests of his native Kazakh people. The formation of his creative worldview was largely influenced by his acquaintance with the famous akyn Suyumbay of the 19th century. Jambul's works are deeply relevant, have a wide coverage of the philosophical vision of reality, stand out for the originality of ideas and freshness of images. In many ways, his work is close to the work of the Azerbaijani classics such as G.Zakir and S.A.Shirvani, to which we, paying attention, attracted certain moments of their works to a comparative analysis. The study of the creative heritage of Jambul led us to the idea that in his works, regardless of the era, the problems of contemporary reality were highlighted. Therefore, his creative legacy stands above any criticism, where sometimes there is a desire to evaluate him from the point of view of revolutionary pathos and socialist reality.
